Urgently hiring a Leasing Agent!

Full-time; Hourly Position
Eligible Lease commissions and Bonuses
Monday to Saturday (weekend flexibility as required primarily scheduled in advanced)

Summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced Leasing Consultant for a multi-family residential property in South St. Louis County, Missouri. The Leasing consultant role will report directly to the Property Manager and be responsible for the full cycle leasing processes for prospective residents.

Responsibilities:

• Warmly greets visitors, prospective renters, and current residents.
• Provides potential tenants with brochures, information, and tours of facilities and available units.
• Consults with prospective tenants to identify requirements and budgets, then matches these needs with available properties.
• Ensures available and model apartments are fresh and tidy.
• Conducts background and credit checks and verifies other references as directed by the Property Manager.
• Facilitates lease execution by and obtaining signatures from management (as needed) and tenants.
• Coordinates move-in dates, materials, and processes.
• Prepares move-in materials.
• Creates, develops, and maintains a wait list as needed.
• Tours property daily to ensure it is neat, tidy, attractive, and in good repair.
• Manages use of shared facilities such as fitness and recreation areas, and meeting or gathering spaces.
• Assists with recordkeeping, filing, bookkeeping, and paperwork as required.
• Creates, develops, and maintains a list of promotions and discounts.
• Develops and implements marketing strategies to attract renters.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.


Requirements:


• Minimum of 3 years' experience in multifamily leasing
• Experience with class A lease up preferred
• Outgoing, friendly attitude and ability to make others feel welcome and comfortable.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with good sales and customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Experience with YARDI property management software preferred.

Must have a valid driver's license, dependable transportation, and automobile insurance as required by the State of Missouri. Travel is primarily local during the business day. This is role is primarily onsite. Lite lifting may be required from time to time. Standard / common physical demands within an office and property management environment required, such as the ability to lift objects, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand as needed.
